This year, Lana Del Rey has quickly become a fashion muse. After listening to her haunting vocals, the creative director of Mulberry, Emma Hill, was inspired to design the hugely popular Del Rey bag for the summer season. The handbag, which has been created in the singer’s honour, retails at a price of £765.00 and is a classic box styled satchel. Now, Del Rey is rocking the world of beauty and has been the inspiration behind a new set of nail wraps created by Nail Rock.
Nail Rock’s new collection is called Lake Placid and inspired by Lana’s love for the half-moon manicure as well as her hometown, New York. The special edition nail wraps were originally designed to celebrate the launch of the Del Rey bag at Mulberry’s Sprint Street store, in New York City, were guests who attended the exclusive event could have the geometric nail designs applied on their nails.
However due to their success at the party creator of Nail Rock, Zoe Pockock, has confirmed that the brand is thinking about releasing them online and in high street stores. What do you think? Would you like Del Rey inspired nails?
