Never one to miss an opportunity for extra publicity, Kim Kardashian was keen to cash in on promoting her own range of eye make-up for her wedding to Kanye West last week. Since close friend and make-up artist Mario Dedivanovic divulged last week that Kim wore $13 Kardashian Beauty Individual Fake Eyelashes for the ceremony, sales of the product have skyrocketed up 48 per cent.
Famed for her bold eye make-up, the product reminds that the ‘eyes are the most powerful communication tool’ and are affectionately named after Kim’s sister, Khloe. Designed for ‘a little extra energy’, the lashes are reviewed by beauty website Feel Unique for being ‘really good quality’ and applauded by the beauty directors on the site, who ‘think they’re brilliant.’
Kim also wore a L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Extraordinaire Liquid in Nude Ballet for her lips, which retails for US $9.99. A modest choice for the bride, who chose an equally inexpensive mascara.
“For Kim’s eyes, I used Urban Decay Perversion Mascara. It launches next month so Kim got it exclusively for her wedding,'” Dedivanovic told the MailOnline. For $20, the product ensures ‘envy-inducing cat eyes that last all day.’
Proud to confess to being ‘the only makeup artist that did Kim’s makeup,’ Dedivanovic reveals that Kim’s make-up usually takes between 20 minutes to an hour.
