A short film directed by Karl Lagerfeld will star Keira Knightley as the iconic fashion designer Coco Chanel. The film, Once Upon A Time, has been made to celebrate 100 years since Chanel first opened up her boutique in Deauville, France.
Lagerfeld recreated the shop for the film, also featuring French actress Cotilde Hesme, who plays Chanel’s aunt, as well as, models Stella Tenant and Lindsey Wixon, who star as the ‘fashionable women who catch Coco’s eye.’ The film will be have its first screening on 8th May in Singapore.
