Festival wear can be seen at almost every mall store lately these days, but that’s highly in part due to Free People a division of Urban Outfitters along with Anthropologie. Their second quarter results came out on Monday afternoon, and shoppers just cannot seem to get enough of it’s particular brand of bohemian style.
Both Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters saw their sales grow by 6 percent and drop by 10, while Free People’s sales grew by 21 percent for the three months ending July 31. Free People has opened seven new stores in the last half year which brings its total stores in the U.S. and Canada to 97. Although the brand is new to International, they will grow their presence through retail partnerships.
