This new ad campaign of Diesel really does do justice for the changes the brand has made since their change in marketing strategy. Nicola Formichetti, the new artistic director has made it her mission to create ads that included real life, everyday people. People that can or have made a difference in the world.

The campaign includes Jillian Mercado a 26 year old fashion editor and visual artist James Astronaut. Although Jillian may be in a wheelchair and have disabilities that most people do not have, that does not stop her. Just look at the style and creativity she has.

Furthermore she doesn’t let her disability stop her from attaining her dreams and working in the fashion industry. When she submitted her pictures for the open call for the Diesel ad, she never thought they would pick her. Maybe is because of the fact she wants to change the world?
