As one of the world’s most famous models Candice Swanepoel is most likely to be seen flaunting her killer body in countless bikini and swimwear shoots, but this time she’s creating excitement for her choice of clothing – not her lack of! It would appear the Victoria’s Secret model has left her angel wings at home for her latest photo shoot.
Leather clad and whip in hand, the 24 year old model channels her secret inner dominatrix for the June issue of Vogue Australia, but she reveals it wasn’t as hot on set as the photos suggest. “The funny thing about the styling for this particular shoot is that I wasn’t wearing pants in many of the shots, which is a little daunting on the streets of Paris! I arrived straight off the plane from St Barts, so the cold was a complete shock to my system,”
As the cover star for the magazine, Candice is the fourth of five chosen supermodels models hosting The Model Series – a special collection featuring 5 of the world’s current top supermodels.
Proving she’s not abandoned her angelic credentials, Candice dons her cotton shorts and Converse for a playful girl-next-door look – with a Mickey Mouse crop top to perfect. Revealing a preference for laid back cool, Candice’s off duty look consists of “old faded black high-waisted jeans, a white T-shirt, booties and Céline bag. Extremely simple.”
Re-creating high school glamour for more of the photos, Candice gets the last laugh. “At school, I got teased because I was so thin and awkward-looking. I put my head down and worked my ass off. And look where it got me.’
