London based Ashish have revealed their tenth collection for high street giant Topshop. It may have been a surprise for many Ashish x Topshop fans that there were not may sequins in this collection, but instead the brand have pushed the collection even further. The main features are the amazing accessoies which include light up LED ligts.
Speaking of the lack of sequins, Ashish said: “Well, there is a tiny bit of sequinage on the mesh pieces… but in a way I think the LED lights are almost like light-up sequins. Sequins are like a long-term love, this collection is like my holiday fling!”
The collection still remains true to the brand’s tongue-in-cheek humour with t-shirts emblazoned with slogans such as “I want to … Your …” and towels with “Dirty Beach” stamped across them. Kate Phelan, Topshop creative director spoke about the new collection:
“Ashish brings his humour and style together to create a fashion collection for beach to bedroom, pool to club… Light-up trainers, towelling hoodies and towel wrap-dresses make hotel style the ultimate look for summer.”
