We’ve all had one of those not so discreet and slightly mortifying Marilyn Monroe moments. It would be ok if we were all like Marilyn, completely fine with flashing our private parts to passersby. Unfortunately we’re not all like Marilyn and many of us have encountered this problem violently blushing and hanging our heads in complete mortification. They’re called private parts for a reason.
Technology has come to our rescue yet again. An app named Weather to Wear has been designed in order to combat this specific dilemma. If you type in your postcode the app will inform you whether the winds will give your skirt or dress a ‘calm ruffling’ or blow it up. Please send all your thanks to app creator Gareth Goddard for solving our Marilyn Monroe problems. It’s just a shame the app can’t help us avoid all potentially embarrassing situations in life but for now we’re happy to go out feeling safe without worrying about the occasional gusts of wind.
