It was only a matter of time before the famous Ice Bucket challenge would reach the fashion clan; Gischel Bundchen and Mario Testino were the latest to douse themsevles. And, surprisingly, that also meant the fashion Queen herself, Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, challenged by her own daughter Bee Shaffer. The (ice) Queen graciously accepted, and allowed her family to pour buckets of water over her famous bob.
Why, you ask? In the US it is to raise money for the ALS Assositation, and in the UK, to raise money and awareness for the Motor Neurone Disease Association and Macmillan Cancer Support. After taking the icy challenge and donating money, the partcipent then has to nominate others to take the task within 24 hours of seeing their video.
Celebrities that have taken part so far include Kate Upton, Cara Delevinge, Daisy Lowe, Lena Dunham, amongst a few.
Wintour in turn nominated Tennis champion Roger Federer and actor Dominic West to take part next.
