AllSaints’ expansion plans have rocketed in the last year, and what better way to officially mark the change with a debut presentation at New York Fashion Week next month! We think its about time the high street giants played with the big dogs.
The retailers will be holding an “interesting and immersive” presentation on Sunday 8th and Monday 9th of September in which they will showcase their spring/summer 2014 collection. The show invite explains it will, “disrupt the format of the traditional fashion show and integrate product, digital and music”. Not only that, but press and buyers will have the chance to book one-to-one appointments with Wil Beedle, AllSaints chief creative director. Oooer, they’re really going all out on this one.
AllSaints’ latest endeavor into the world of film is surely to play a role in their extravagant presentation. With AllSaints Film, the company will feature up-and-coming filmakers as well as producing it’s own in-house pieces and will incorporate aspects of “music, style and street documentaries to cutting-edge moving installations”.
With so many exciting plans for the label this year, we can see that this is going to be the pies-de-resistance.
