Designer Alexander Wang has unveiled his very first scent for fashion label Balenciaga. Due out in October, the “woody” fragrance has been describes as a wild mix of lily of the valley, violet green leaves accord, cedarwood and more.
The bottle fits in with the label’s statement aesthetic and is modern and architectural, with frosted glass that’s inspired by the marble floors in Balenciaga’s original store.
For the ad campaign, Wang opted for the same duo which made his spring 2014 so successful: model Anna Ewers and photographer Steven Klein.
The B Balenciaga fragrance, is expected to sell in over 300 US specialty stores — Sephora, Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus to name a few.
