Joe Zee made a great name for himself in the fashion world from working on the reality TV show ‘All On The Line‘ to having his own fashion design camp, Zee’s work ventured much further than being Elle’s Creative Director. So now Joe Zee has moved on to work with Yahoo’s new fashion vertical, Elle have a gap to fill, but it hasn’t taken long since they have now stated it will be Alex Gonzalez who will be taking over from Zee’s position.
Gonzalez previously worked for Elle’s sister magazine Marie Claire as their Artistic Director as well as Executive artistic director for Town & Country. Alex’s move won’t be too much of a change though as he will be keeping the same position with Elle, meaning he will be responsible for the overall visuals of the magazine.
Editor in chief of Elle magazine, Robbie Myers spoke about the role change saying Gonzalez will be ‘building a team‘ which also means more editorial change could be on the way. Gonzalez also said “Robbie and her team have built Elle into the powerhouse brand that it is and I look forward to being part of its future,” So this is looking very promising for the magazine and we can expect plenty of good things to come.
