Could Ed Sheeran ever do an awful cover song? It seems not. His latest triumph is a cover of Fetty Wap’s ‘Trap Queen’.

The British artist collaborated with none other than Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show band The Roots to produce an amazing rendition of the rapper’s breakout song.

With the original hit being one of the hottest hip-hop tracks this year, Sheeran’s cover is a more stripped back version, done in his own usual soulful style.

At the end of the cover you can hear the singer laughing, which is probably directed at the fact that he said the word ‘boo’ so many times. But the performance itself is certainly no laughing matter, check it out for yourself!
