The all-female reboot of Ghostbusters is sounding better by the second. Having already cast some of the hottest faces of Hollywood, Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon to name a few, Paul Feig has confirmed that Chris Hemsworth is the latest addition to the lineup. Swoon.
Hemsworth has been cast as the receptionist, who was originally played by Annie Potts.
A huge step away from the actor’s most famous role as Thor, according to Variety, Chris originally tuned down the part as it was too small. However Sony re-worked the script so the character would have a bigger role.
Unfortunately, there is still a long time to wait before we get to see him sitting behind a desk, looking drop dead gorgeous – no doubt! The production of the film isn’t set to start until this summer, with a release date of July 2016. Watch this space.
