It’s been 13 years since the fourth instalment of the Jurassic Park films was officially announced and it’s finally set for release. Cast your mind backs to 2002, this was when Steven Spielberg said the film would definitely be happening, and it has endured over a decade of development hell to finally reach the big screen. Extra emphasis placed on hell please - after all, the wait has been TEDIOUS.

The stars of the film include Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard and we have to admit, we’re in awe of Bryce’s character. Not only is she the manager of Jurassic World and copes with what looks like a pretty awful day at work, but she goes through the whole thing without taking her high heels off. She’s our kind of woman.

Jurassic World has already received rave reviews from film critics but if you need more to get you excited, check out our list of the top 10 moments from the original Jurassic Park trilogy.

Clever Girl

Game warden Robert Muldoon’s line “clever girl” has become one of the franchises most famous quotes and has been subjected to the internet meme treatment. In the movie, Robert is one of the good guys and is trying to distract the velociraptors after they escape from their secure pen while his colleague puts the power back on.

He heads into the woods but is confronted by a raptor in the clearing in a heart-dropping moment. Robert prepares his gun, but the sneaky raptor comes at him through the bushes on the side. He compliments the dinosaur, saying his last lines “clever girl”, before it has him for lunch.
