It’s been 13 years since the fourth instalment of the Jurassic Park films was officially announced and it’s finally set for release. Cast your mind backs to 2002, this was when Steven Spielberg said the film would definitely be happening, and it has endured over a decade of development hell to finally reach the big screen. Extra emphasis placed on hell please – after all, the wait has been TEDIOUS.
The stars of the film include Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard and we have to admit, we’re in awe of Bryce’s character. Not only is she the manager of Jurassic World and copes with what looks like a pretty awful day at work, but she goes through the whole thing without taking her high heels off. She’s our kind of woman.
Jurassic World has already received rave reviews from film critics but if you need more to get you excited, check out our list of the top 10 moments from the original Jurassic Park trilogy.

There are many ways you might notice a dinosaur. For example, you might see it (some of them are pretty big), hear it stomping up behind you or, of course, you might hear a phone ringing from inside it’s stomach.
That’s exactly what happened when a raptor attack strikes the main group and Eric Kirby, whose father Paul Kirby owned the satellite phone in question. Not a nice way to find out where your missing friend is, as Paul remembers how he leant it to Nash but definitely a memorable one.
