In an already heavily saturated market, you have to do something unique to stand out from the crowd.
The UK festival market is awash with a multitude of choices to suit every taste. But the rare beauty and simplicity of a fantastic festival seem to have been lost along the way. It might be because the popularity of the idea is continually rising, or, that what was once considered unusual, or quirky, is now the norm. Lost Village is entering into the third year within the UK festival scene, and we think they might just be that special something that everyone seems so eager to find.
Lost Village is a new kind of music festival; intimate in size and obsessive about detail, the concept was created with passion, first and foremost. A desire for creating a festival unlike anything else.
Like stepping into a classic Stephen King movie, the Lost Village experience is a real life choose-your-own-adventure. Much like a film it has a Director and a large cast of characters. However, this is a story that is ever-evolving, and anything is truly possible. Intricate set designs and interactive installations transform the forest into a place where reality flickers and melts into a paranormal dreamscape, absorbing all who enter.
It’s new enough to be still a ‘best-kept-secret’ but old enough to know exactly how to wow their audience, and attract an incredible list of artists at headliner level.
“Lost Village is a surreal world, inhabited by all manner of unusual beings. As you venture amongst the trees, you’ll navigate through intricate pathways and hidden streets, uncovering places such as the Forgotten Cabin, Lake of Tranquility and Bureau of Lost. And don’t be surprised if you’re whisked away to a secret hideout by one of the village’s many natives… for the forest holds a million secrets.”
They have just dropped their first wave of artists, and we are super excited to explore the woods and dance to our heart’s content amongst the trees!
With a specially curated lineup that focuses heavily on the electronic and DJ front, we have Moderat and De La Soul sitting in the headline slots.
They will then be backed by such names as; Dixon, Nina Kraviz, The Black Madonna, Hunee, Craig Charles, Mr Scruff, Dusky, Jackmaster, Bicep, Ben UFO, Telefon Tel Aviv, Nightmares On Wax, Midland, Ibibo Sound Machine, Maribou State, Fatima Yamaha, Leon Vynehall, Jeremy Underground, Move D, Max Cooper, Artwork, Greg Wilson, Axel Boman, Gerd Janson, Legowelt, Joe Goddard, Denis Sulta, Fort Romeau, The 2 Bears, Boxed In, Horse Meat Disco with many more still to be announced!
If you think music and immersive theater isn’t enough, then rest assured the other great attractions in the Lost Village include an array of incredible dining experiences, spa treatments, hot tubs and creative workshops and talks.
You will have to be fast, early-bird, tier one, two and three are already sold out. Tier 4 will be released tomorrow on 27th January at 10 am! Be ready and buy your tickets – here
You won’t want to miss this. Be a part of the secret, no one on the outside will understand.
If that’s not enough to convince you, then check out their 2016 after movie:
