Download Festival have announced the next batch of bands for the Donington Park festival, consisting of 48 bands across different genres and stages. The festival seems to be getting more and more diverse within the general ‘rock festival’ category, with acts ranging from pop punk to anthemic rock to metal to… well, Steel Panther, making it one of the most attractive British festivals this summer! This year sees the arrival of a brand new stage, the Avalanche stage, which the organisers describe as a stage “showcasing the best in punk rock, post-hardcore and alt-rock”, and it certainly does not disappoint. Check out every single band playing the stage across the weekend below, including the headliners; Sleeping With Sirens, Simple Plan and The Dillinger Escape Plan.
