It’s no wonder that one of the dates for this year’s Slam Dunk Festival has already sold out when they just can’t seem to stop making amazing band announcements! The South date for the festival has now officially sold out, and festival organizers have just announced their awesome line-up for the Breakout Stage.
The stage, brought in association with Rock Sound, is pegged to feature some of the hottest new bands from around the world; and from the looks of the first announcement, they aren’t lying!
Festival goers will be able to enjoy the fresh sounds of Area 11, Casey, Homebound, The Gospel Youth, VUKOVI plus the first UK performances from Ocean Grove, Sylar and MAKEOUT! (formerly Trophy Wives).
They will join the likes of We Are The Ocean, who will be playing their final ever shows at this year’s Slam Dunk Festival, Deaf Havana, Frank Iero And The Patience, The Maine, Stray From The Path and Sorority Noise.
Also recently announced acts including Seaway, Boston Manor, WSTR, Crime In Stereo and Too Close to Touch. Slam Dunk also revealed the final additions to their Fireball UK; with Zebrahead, The Ataris, FENIX TX and the reunion of Madina Lake.
The bands in the latest announcement will join Enter Shikari as headliners, with the band’s slot at the festival also doubling as a ten-year celebration of Take To The Skies.
The festival rolls into Birmingham, Leeds and Hatfield over May Bank Holiday weekend. Dates and details below:
