Big Narstie, Craig Charles, Macka B and 200 other acts are heading to Torquay, Devon for the second installment of Grinagog Festival.

Following their debut year, Grinagog Festival is beckoning the return of the Grinagog monster and making a – rather significant – splash is Uncle Pain himself, Big Narstie. The grime veteran joins with Craig Charles, Macka B, Devil Sold His Soul, Channel One Sound System and many more.

Grinagog Creative Director, Torquay-native and MBE DJ Chris Tofu has put together a line up that features over 200 acts. DJ Chris Tofu is a known figure in the festival world with active involvement with Glastonbury’s Shangri-La, The Ballroom inside the Mayfair district at Boomtown and for dropping back-to-back bangers within the Vintage-Remix community. The 200 acts across the weekend (20-22 April 2018) sees critical names be flagships for their genres throughout the lineup.

While the headliners take the limelight, we’ve spotted hidden gems within the lineup; Kiko Bun will surely bring the good vibes through his DJ set; Teddy Music is one of Grime’s most iconic producers after producing tracks like POW (2011) by Lethal Bizzle; and Fabric’s elusive Terry Francis making a rare appearance. Also, not forgetting the art installment from Glastonbury’s Shangri-La; that’s one way to get over the ‘Glasto Blues’.

This year, Grinagog are celebrating the festival with the undertone theme of “It Came From The Sea”. Grinagog puts a modern twist on the mysterious monster from the sea and how the beckoning of this mystical squid-like-beast will lead to another thriving party within the walls of the 800-year-old building, Torre Abbey. Watch their trailer below:

Early Bird tickets have sold out however, Tier 1 tickets are on sale for as little as £30 (plus a booking fee). For more information about the festival next to the sea, visit their website – see below for their full lineup.
