Sunday night’s X Factor episode (28th September) saw Louis Walsh pick his six groups to take through to judges houses but not without a whole load of drama!

Louis is no stranger to making tough decisions, however the brutal ‘six chair’ concept in this year’s competition seemed even too much for him to bear. Controversy came after he had filled all six seats and had to start swapping acts. In the end, a dramatic sing off between cute boyband Overload, sickly sweet The Pow Pow Girls and the new, currently unnamed girl band sought to end the suffering.

Unfortunately for Louis, it just seemed to make things a whole lot worse! Picking the newly put together girl band to take his last place caused uproar both in the audience and for viewers, many of who took to twitter to air their anger and disappointment in losing Overload:

So viewers may not be happy about losing a cute new boy band from the competition but look on the bright side – they might do a One Direction and end up taking over the music world with their catchy songs and floppy hair. Maybe.

Now that Overload have gone, the so-new-they-don’t-even-have-a-name group, made up of eight male contestants who didn’t make it through as individuals, are our new personal favourite. It’s just learning all their names that might be an issue!

Do you think Overload should have been given a place in Louis’ top six? Who are you routing for now? Let us know below!
