Arizona rockers, The Maine, have announced that they will be releasing a new album featuring only covers!

The new record is being released as a counterpart to last years EP, Covers (Side A), and will be called Covers (Side B).. duh...

Covers (Side B) is due to be released on June 24 via 8123 and will include a cover of 'Love Yourself' by Justin Bieber, which is to be released on 21st April.

Frontman John O'Callaghan said "To beliebe or not to believe is not the question here because no one can deny the quality of Sir Justin's tune", which we might have to, very quietly, admit is true. He goes on to say "We haven't fully converted to the church of Bieber just yet, but we decided to try out hand at covering his religious hymn".

The Maine are always up for a laugh and never seem to disappoint. It's got us thinking though. What are our favourite covers from bands over the years?

We'll start off below with The Maine covering New Radicals from Covers (Side A), which really is a great version of a great song.

Check out our other favourite covers. Trust us... you won't regret it!

As Long As You Love Me’ – The Maine

Just to finish things off, we’ve picked something that has us excited for the whole reason we did this post.

The Maine are releasing a new covers album, remember. So here’s another cover from their Covers (Side A) album.

It’s ‘As Long As You Love Me’ by Backstreet Boys and honestly… it’s actually a really beautiful rendition.

Bravo to The Maine. Be sure to hear their new EP Covers (Side B), out in June.
