KLF – Brit Awards 1992
This one is a little odd. And also a pretty long time ago! The band KLF made headlines after performing a metal version of their dance hit ‘3am Eternal’ with Extreme Noise Terror. The performance was pretty extreme and during their set, frontman Bill Drummond fired blanks from a vintage machine gun into the audience. The performance led to conductor Sir Georg Solti twalking out and the venues announcer, Scott Piering, stating “Ladies and gentleman, the KLF have now left the music business”.
The band disbanded three months later.
