Let's start by saying that there is no such thing as a bad My Chemical Romance album. There absolutely is not. Not one. At All. Anyone who says otherwise is a liar AND a heathen (or a Grandmother). However, what with being fans of the band we set about the mammoth task of ranking the band's albums from best to least best (we refuse to use the word worst). If you disagree, please feel free to let us know. Wish us luck.

2. The Black Parade

When you’re album’s title single can turn thousands of people into blubbering wrecks with just the first note of it’s piano work, it’s certainly a winner. The other half of the duo of albums that made My Chemical Romance mega-stars worldwide, The Black Parade may be dead, but that sure as hell hasn’t stopped it from still being one of the most loved rock albums of all time. A rock opera about the sensitive subject that is cancer, it is at time gentle and delicate, at others thoughtful and intense, often heavy and hard hitting. If ever you needed a starting point for somebody looking to give the band a go, here is that point. Plus, who didn’t want to own their own version of ‘that’ jacket?
