Good Charlotte are back on the scene with an album arriving in just five very short days.
Young Authority will be their sixth studio album, and will be released on the 15th July, which will be this coming Wednesday. Definitely something to brighten up your mid-week!
The Pop Punk heroes premiered their video ’40 oz dream’ on HotTopic, which is the first single from the upcoming album. Here are what we think are the top three moments of the video.

- It’s the end of the world! Well, presumably, as the theme for the video is that they are the last band on Earth, so something must have happened to the other bands; meteor, end of the world, freak gardening accident… Who knows. So being the last band on Earth what do Good Charlotte do? They empty a load of booze into a paddling pool. Naturally. A waste of alcohol never looked so good.

2. Playing poker with some familiar friends. Living a dream maybe or just a fantasy of playing poker with the infamous Slash, who is represented by a red balloon with a stylish top hat and black curly locks who has been drawn in to a staring competition by the looks of things. We’re getting some Castaway vibes from that volleyball. Wilsooooon!

3. Nearing the end of their video, once Good Charlotte have found a place to call home and set up a gig they create a banner stating they are, in fact, the last band on Earth just in case anyone was uncertain. Brilliant!
Overall the video is great fun and makes you wish that if the world was going to crash and burn, you’d want to be with them as it looks like the band could throw a great party!
