This week’s been an eventful week – October’s always a great month as you can always count on some great tour to roll around and it also seems to be a pretty popular time of year for bands to be dropping new releases. As always, there have been some great music videos revealed in the past week as well. Here’s our rundown of what you might have missed.
Code Orange – The Mud
There are very few words to describe the new Code Orange video other than it’s bizarre. We still can’t quite figure out what the whole idea is, but what we know is ‘The Mud’ is a banger. The track is taken off the band’s recent release Forever, and you can take a peek below.
Sleep On It – Window
Chicago pop punkers Sleep On It are gearing up for the release of their debut album Overexposed, which is coming out November 3rd via Equal Vision Records. What we’ve learned about the band so far is it tends to get pretty emotional – and their latest video for ‘Window’ is no exception.
Veil Of Maya – Doublespeak
Veil Of Maya‘s new album False Idol, releasing end of this month is a narrative where “you’re following this character, who’s not the nicest person, and he rises to power. You’ll have to listen to find out what happens — it’s a very dark storyline.” As a taster of the whole record, the band have released their new video for ‘Doublespeak’ to follow their previously released ‘Overthrow’.
Huxtable – Super Toxic
Ever wondered what Huxtable would be like if they were puppets? Well, you can put your imagination to rest because the band’s new tongue in cheek video for ‘Super Toxic’ shows you just that.
Obey The Brave – Mad Season
So it’s been a fun time on the road playing shows across the globe, at least for Obey The Brave. The band take us on their adventures on tour in their latest video for ‘Mad Season’. Here’s what an Obey The Brave show looks like:
Thy Art Is Murder – Puppet Master
Thy Art Is Murder is just about rounding off their current UK tour, and whether you’re just in the mood to relive the energy of one of their shows or find out what exactly you’ve missed out on, their latest music video ‘Pupper Master’ gives a great taster.
