With the new series of BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing just around the corner, we take a look at the 15 celebrities lined up to strut their stuff on the dance floor.

This year we welcome a wide range of well-known faces take on the dancing challenge, from pop-stars to presenters. Returning to their seats on the judging panel are Len Goodman, Darcey Bussell, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli. Following veteran presenter Bruce Forsythe’s departure from the show last year, Tess Daley and Claudia Winkleman will be presenting.

Frankie Sandford, Former member of S Club Juniors and current member of girl band The Saturdays was originally signed up for last year, but had to drop out due to her pregnancy. This year she’s back and ready to dance!

Swapping the emergency room for the ballroom is Sunetra Sarker, actress best known for her role as clinical consultant Zoe Hanna in Casualty.

Simon Webb, member of noughties boy-band Blue, may be a potential winner of the competition after finishing 3rd in the 2011 Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special.

Known as her role in the popular Irish comedy Mrs Brown’s Boys, Jennifer Gilbey play’s Mammy’s daughter Cathy. She says “As a child, I wrote to Blue Peter asking could I dance with Pan’s People. Now at last I get a chance to earn my badge. Excited doesn’t cover it!

Former Scottish rugby player Thom Evans retired from his professional career in 2010 following a neck injury. We’re not sure about his dancing skills, but we’re sure he’ll be a hit with the ladies!
