Slash’s Facebook Page Is Bat Shit Crazy! Weirdest Social Media Profile Ever?

Erm, Slash. Less of the Facebook weirdness and more of the Guns N’ Roses reunion. OK?

You’d think with 3 albums released in the last five years and a supposed upcoming Guns N’ Roses reunion that Slash would be a busy man. Judging by his Facebook page, you’d be forgiven if you assumed otherwise. Slash to put it lightly, has a habit of posting some weird shit to his page.

It seems we’re not the only ones to have noticed, with this little meme flooding the comments of his postings.

There’s something oddly reassuring about the fact that the coolest man in rock is also prone to some embarrassing Dad moments too. You know that moment when Dad calls you in to show you a not so funny scene from a T.V. show that he’s belly laughing at… this is that moment, on Facebook, to 11 million people…

Here’s just a choice selections from Slash‘s weird and wonderful mind…

Things that look like Vagina’s/Sex puns

For a man who should have filled his boots with freaky ass sex across the last 30 years, he doesn’t half seem to gravitate towards sex jokes that twelve-year-old boys would dismiss as a little juvenile. Like an 8-year-old who’s just learned a dirty word, Slash likes to turn round to the internet and proclaim “Ha Vagina!”.

Yes, that’s right. The man behind ‘Sweet Child Of Mine’ and ‘Paradise City’ finds laser titties funny! And that emoticon… His little top hat wink emoticon just makes matters worse… now it just looks like his emoticon is sitting there saying “look at them lazer titties…PWHOAAAR!!”. Maybe Slash‘s tophat has control over his Facebook…

There’s likely some amazing social media team that have come up with the iiii]; )’ thing. But why oh why does it have to have that creepy wink! Wasn’t iiii]: )’ good enough? Granted it now makes him look like a Mr Men character, but if we were going for realism, wouldn’t we add a needle and a groupie?

Cartoons, All the cartoons!

Slash loves cartoons.

Now we all love a good cartoon. Looking at my DVR, it’s clear that having 100 Simpons episodes recorded might make me the wrong person to criticise here…but, there’s a reasonable limit to cartoon consumption, unless your 13 or a little bit weird. What I’m trying to say is, are we 100% sure Slash isn’t really a 13-year-old boy? It would explain his over-friendliness with a certain Michael Jackson

How on earth do we categorize these!?

Some stuff is just so odd and random that you literally don’t have anything to say.

Want a video of brain spaghetti? Slash has you covered!

Or a strange alien creature climbing a stair well? Slash has that covered too!

Or would you rather fancy looking at a cute spider-cat? You guessed it…

So it’s settled, Slash‘s Facebook persona is Dad-jokes man! Or maybe he’s just bored. Let’s face it, if Slash thinks posted random junk to Facebook is a good time killer, then it’s clear to see why he couldn’t say no to getting Guns N’ Roses back together.

Maybe this is just a side effect of being sworn to secrecy. The nice guy from GNR is having an emotional battle with himself over revealing all about his rekindled Axl-bromance that he just loses it and brain farts over the internet… If these posts stop next month… You heard it here first!

And on that bombshell, we leave you with this…
