Orchards are a math pop four-piece from Brighton, who describe their sound as a ‘glitter gateway drug’. They’re exactly that – Lucy Evers’ vocals are bursting with addictive pop vigor and their upbeat spirited sound is annoyingly infectious. Beneath the surface, tracks like ‘Peggy’ and ‘Constantly Moving’ are riddled with technical riffs and drum patterns that transform the songs into dreamy math masterpieces. Their combination of poppy hooks and intricate riffs make each track feel like a celebratory explosion of brightly coloured confetti.
