Richmond quartet Broadside have been slowly but surely making waves in the pop-punk scene since 2013. And although they were nothing to sneer at back then, they are definitely a band that should not be ignored now. With the band recently releasing their new island-inspired album Paradise, which is filled with poetic lyrics and catchy, uplifting hooks, they are winning the hearts of pop-punk fans everywhere—including ours!
Broadside can stand with the best of the modern pop-punk scene, and they have the punchy hooks to prove it, but the band possesses a certain sophisticated elegance to their songs, which makes them one of the most interesting pop-punk bands around at the moment.
