Earlier today Deaf Havana announced that they’d be heading on the road with Lonely The Brave this December and they’re hitting up towns such as Coventry, Falmouth and Lincoln. There’s one thing though that the lads have missed out on: that’s right there’s no London show! You heard it right! In 99.999% of cases of touring schedules it’s the people in towns like Southampton or Leeds or other parts of the UK that are gutted because they aren’t coming anywhere close by; but this time it’s London’s turn.
Although most people will probably think it’s a bad idea we actually think it’s one of the best things the band could have done. Why we hear you ask?! Well Londoners rarely have to do more than jump on a tube or venture to the other side of the same city now we all have the chance to venture further afield. It will really show how many Londoners love Deaf Havana enough to travel and see them and to realise what it’s like to live in most other places in the UK and not have every single band hitting their town on each tour.
Now the most important decision we have to make it whether to jump on a train to Coventry or whether to do a pre-christmas weekend party in Middlesbrough!
We think it’s great Deaf Havana are mixing things up and catering to other cities but it seems that not everyone agrees. What do you think?!
