Following on from Jimmy Eat World announcing that they’ll be touring their 2004 album ‘Futures‘ in the US, they have now confirmed that they’ll be taking the same tour to Australia and New Zealand this November.
Including such singles as ‘Pain‘, ‘Work‘ and ‘Futures‘, the album is one of Jimmy Eat World‘s best albums, the question I can see from a lot of you though, “will we see Future’s being toured in the UK?” With the expansion of the tour going outside of the US, it would be very surprising if it didn’t make its way over to Europe, so keep your eyes and ears peeled for further news in the future.
Check out the tour dates for Australia:
November –
Sat 8 – Powerstation – Auckland
Tue 11 – Metro City – Perth
Wed 12 – Thebarton Theatre – Adelaide
Sat 15 – Uni Bar – Hobart
Mon 17 – Forum Theatre – Melbourne
Thur 20 – The Tivoli – Brisbane
Sat 22 – Emmore Theatre – Sydney
It seems like 2014 is becoming the year for albums being played in full. Recently we’ve had the likes of Linkin Park‘s ‘Hybrid Theory‘ and Offspring’s ‘Smash‘ being played in full at Download Festival and Hundred Reasons playing ‘Ideas Above Our Station‘ and Anthrax playing ‘Among The Living‘ in full at Sonisphere Festival. Therefore, its had us thinking, what other albums do we want to see being played in full?
Following is our top 5 ideas for album tours. Have a look, and give us your ideas on what you want to see being played.
