When he’s not playing drums for Fall Out Boy, Andy Hurley keeps busy with a number of other projects. In what must come as a surprise to casual fans who only know him with FOB – though not to longtime followers – Hurley also drums for the way more intense-sounding vegan straight edge band Sect. “In just such a volatile, precarious moment as this for civilization, there is more reason than ever to keep lashing out at a world more suicidally bent on its own destruction,” the band declare, and their fierce worldview is laid out in full on a fantastic 10-track eponymous record.
