We headed down to the very first Havoc Festival, created by Fearless Vampire Killers and Live Nation, this weekend to see if it was worth the hype, and here are just five of the most awesome things we discovered about the UK’s newest rock festival!
1) Meet and greet – for free!
While some bands take great pleasure in charging extortionate fees so you can say an awkward hello for thirty seconds and get a forced photo before being kicked out by ruthless security guards – but there’s none of that here at Havoc! All the bands are more than happy to wander around the room all day, watching other bands and hanging out by the merch tables for fans to come over and say hello whenever they please. If you want to speak to your favourite band, you don’t have to wait in line for hours just to feel like you can’t say more than two words before someone else takes their turn, because at Havoc everyone is welcome to get albums signed, take a selfie, or simply have a chat – more importantly, the bands truly appreciate it, and not because your paying them a butt-load for the privilege!
