Download 2018: The Acts Not To Miss… So Far

We take a look at the recent Download additions and give you a few picks on who you’d be a fool to miss out on

Download 2018

In the sphere of rock and metal, Download wears the crown for the genres most infamous festival; lineup additions, omissions, and positions often dominate discussion for the months leading up to the weekend in Donnington. This all comes with a very little surprise, arguably no festival in existence has been the birthplace to more defining moments in a bands career than Download (remember Slipknot in 2009?). With some fairly recent lineup additions we thought we’d sift through and give you some pointers on who not to miss out on come June.

Seems obvious this one, doesn’t it? Parkway Drive are a band that have been outrageously consistent in their time, as well as being an absolute barn-stormer of a live band. We have been wondering for a good while when they were gonna get their chance to truly own a UK festival, and headlining the second stage on Saturday night seems like their best chance yet, and the best thing? Festival organiser Andy Copping has confirmed they won’t clash with Guns N Roses, prepare to mosh.
