As usual, it’s always a little bit tricky to try and keep on top of EVERYTHING that’s been released in the world of music – there’s jsut so many song previews, full tracks and videos to try and keep up with. It’s a good struggle each time round, and here are just a few of the music videos we’re digging this week.
Counterfeit. – You Can’t Rely
Counterfeit.‘s latest single ‘You Can’t Rely’ was the last track that they wrote for their recently released debut full-length Together We Are Stronger, and in the words of vocalist Jamie Bower it is a track that “focuses on the darkness that seems to weigh heavy on us as a band and the need to rise above it all.”
Marilyn Manson – Say10
The ever so theatrical Marilyn Manson is back and his new record Heaven Upside Down is out now to critical acclaim. The new single taken of the album is ‘Say10’, and it is just as ferocious and creepy as you would expect from anything the singer does.
With Confidence – Waterfall
Are you crying? Because it’s totally okay to admit that With Confidence‘s latest video ‘Waterfall’ makes you feel a little emotional. “Our video for Waterfall is an exploration of technology’s effect on the modern relationship. We live in a world where instant-gratification has devalued honest human interaction. This video is a look into a likely future where we find ourselves more distanced than ever,” explains vocalist/ bassist Jayden Seeley.
Pierce The Veil – Today I Saw The World
Are you getting a slightly 90s vibe from Pierce The Veil‘s new music video for ‘Today I Saw The World’? That’s because the band have intentionally tried to re-create the feel of their favourite videos growing up from the likes of Beastie Boys, Cypress Hill and Marilyn Manson. Not bad.
Hollywood Undead – We Own The Night
Hollywood Undead’s latest album FIVE is out later this month – the three videos they’ve released so far have racked up over 10 million views, so of course they decide it’s time to unveil yet another banging tune ‘We Own The Night’, which you can check out below.
Don Broco – Stay Ignorant
You can always count on Don Broco for making you chuckle, and it’s no different with their latest video ‘Stay Ignorant’. The band have got some big plans coming up, with their new album Technology releasing next year and of course their massive show at Alexandra Palace in November.
