The distance between fans and bands has been growing smaller and smaller nowadays. The internet and social media are, of course, playing a huge part in this, but you also now see a lot of bands inviting fans on stage to involve them more in the live music experience.
We’ve put together a list of some of our most memorable moments that fans have been invited up on stage to play, sing and generally rock out with their favourite bands. [/tps_header]
Disturbed
One of the most recent examples comes from Disturbed who invited a 12-year-old fan up on stage recently to commemorate his first concert experience. The lucky boy got to the front of the crowd before being invited up and given a pair of drum-sticks, just to make everything even more special.
