What with the likes of Donald Trump, David Cameron and Michael Gove repeatedly making headlines for all the wrong reasons (namely foul bigotry, shagging pigs and ruining the lives of students across the country), here at MOSH we can’t help but ponder the question:
What if our favourite rockstars ran the world?
Imagine politics free from lying, robbing MPs and political leaders completely unrepresentative of the people who voted them in power; instead, think straight-talking, no bullshit and a healthy dose of rock’n’roll. Admittedly, this possibility seems pretty unlikely but we can dream!
Here’s our top five rockstars we’d most love to see as politicians.

Corey Taylor
Slipknot/Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor is not known for mincing his words. From rightfully putting Kanye West in his place, to a rather amusing rant about ripping the plastic off CDs, he’s not afraid to give his opinion on well, just about everything. A great public speaker (and screamer), politics needs someone like Taylor to tell it how it is and call people out on their bullshit. Also, if Donald Trump wins the election, Taylor has said that he may pack his bags and move to a remote island which would mean no more Slipknot(!), and that just won’t do.
