Sleeping With Sirens have teamed up with pop punk quintet State Champs for an intimate acoustic show before their Reading and Leeds appearance. The show will take place on the 25th August at Union Chapel.
Here are 5 reasons why this show will rule:
- It will be the first acoustic show Sleeping With Sirens have ever done in the UK so we know they’ll pull out all the stops and give us one unforgettable night.
- We’ll get to experience the live echo-y, stripped-back goodness of Kellin Quinn’s majestic voice. We’ll also get some of those classic Kellin Quinn extended song endings in full-effect!
- Expect to hear some gems from their upcoming Live and Unplugged album, which includes acoustic versions of ‘If You Can’t Hang’, ‘Go Go Go’ and their cover of ‘Iris’. (The album will be out April 8th.)
- The support band, duh! State Champs are quickly becoming legends in the modern pop punk scene, and if you’ve ever seen them live, you’ll know that they’ve earned that title. And we can’t wait to see them bring the (slightly mellowed out) pop punk energy, and cheekiness, to the beautiful Union Chapel.
- We’ll actually get to see Sleeping With Sirens and State Champs, full body and all, without having a million iPhone screens/jumping fans blocking our way. Score!
Tickets for the show go on sale Friday 11th March.
