The UK are gladly welcoming back the renowned frontman of Slipknot and Stone Sour for a one off show at KOKO in London on the 8th of May.
Not only has he stripped back in the photo above with no mask, he will be on his own with an acoustic guitar, so the show will make for a very intimate and special gig. Something you wouldn’t want to miss. Another thing we wouldn’t want to miss is Slipknots US tour with Marilyn Manson and Of Mice & Men. Corey is keeping busy recording demos with Stone Sour and writing a book, ‘America 51‘, a reference to Area 51 and the weirdness the consipracy theories surrounding it. Another reason why we love Corey Taylor: he is not afraid to speak his opinion!

5. “I think people are tired of fake music, man. And there’s a lot of it. Technology has reached the point where any boob can walk into a studio and with a little AutoTuning you can have a hit song. I think it’s pathetic.”
There are so many songs being produced in this day and age all for the wrong reasons, at least we know not all musicians are just about the looks.
4.” I don’t feel guilty about the music I love. If you feel guilty about something you dig, then you should stop feeling guilty about it. One of my favorite albums to this day is the 10th anniversary ensemble cast of ‘Les Miserables,’ the ultimate cast recording, and it is still something I love listening to top to bottom.”
We all have those guilty pleasure albums (well, would we even call them guilty?) it’s just music we love and who cares what someone else thinks?

We think every metal fan can vouch for this, but then again you can’t help but feel at home when you see someone with a great band t-shirt. Give them some respect; bowing and saying ‘I am not worthy’ is not needed.
