Those who know of Mr. Patty Walters probably know him for his quirky Vlogs, cover songs and mischievous Youtube videos that brought him into Internet super-stardom. What fewer of you probably know, is that he is also the front man for upcoming UK pop-punk outfit As It Is, who are shaping up to be one of the hottest bands of 2015!

With three major support tours and a touring slot on the Warped Tour this summer, 2015 is looking to be a crazy year for the guys. However, all this touring means that Mr. Walters has to take a break from his regular YouTube creations, so let’s take a look at his top 5 videos and reminisce.

5. Teenage Dirtbag – Wheatus Cover

Kicking off our list, we take a trip back to 2012 and take a look at this cover of  the Wheatus classic ‘Teenage Dirtbag’. If ever there was a cover version nailed, this is it!

Feel your fist pump, your head bang and blast out that iconic chorus at the top of your lungs!

4. Let It Go – Frozen (Screamo Cover)

It is a little known fact that HTF’s very own over-lord/editor, Mr. Chris Hines, has named ‘Let It Go’ as the greatest song of all time. Surpassing tunes by such greats as Joni Mitchell, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Prince and The Cheeky Girls! (Editors Note: Lies, all lies!)

So when this screamo version of the Disney hit found Patty channelling his inner Oli Sykes, it was time to sit up and take notice.

3. A Song About A Girl (Feat. Luke ‘Lukeisnotsexy’ Cutforth)

Long blonde wigs, cross-dressing, slightly homo-erotic undertones between two of YouTube’s poster boys (dream material for all the fan-fiction writers and ‘shippers’ out there) and pure tongue-in-cheek Pop-Punk cliché.

If Bowling For Soup ever imagined what today’s ‘Punk Rock 101′ would be, they need look no further than here. A truly infectious melody, coupled with a hilarious video, puts this collaboration video at our number three spot.

2. Mastermind with Brendon Urie

Have you ever been disappointed in the severe lack of videos of pop-punk pin-up superstars doing movie impressions? Well, worry no more folks, this video puts Patty in conversation with Panic At The Disco frontman Brendon Urie!

From Jaws to Rocky and Scarface to James Bond, Patty puts Brendon through his paces as an impressionist, in a game in the style of classic game-show Mastermind. Take a look to see Mr. Urie sweat and crack under pressure like never before.

1. Wrecking Ball – Miley Cyrus (Cover)

So taking our number one spot is this stunning re-imagination of the middle of the road Miley Cyrus smash, pre-prepared especially for the mosh pit. We’d love to hear him knocking this one out live with As It Is, but that is more than likely but a distant hope!

Until he returns to YouTube, 2015 is the year in which Patty Walters and As It Is break out onto the pop-punk scene with an explosive, if slightly camp, leap. Do not miss a chance to see them live!
