New Four-Hours Edition Of Wolf Of Wall Street With More Sex And Swearing

Upcoming DVD of The Wolf Of Wall Street is rumoured to include new four-hour edition with more sex and swearing.

The Wolf of Wall Street is already know for the amount of f-words and sex scenes, but director Martin Scorsese has some extra clips for the fans of this phenomenal film in the upcoming DVD.

Producers of the film revealed prior to its release that The Wolf of Wall Street was originally four hours long and that its final 179 minute run time was achieved to meet the distribution demands of the studio.

The Director was forced to cut out some scenes to avoid the NC-17 rating which would harm its commercial chances. Nevertheless even the cut version has the second-highest number of f-words, with the top spot taken by the film Fuck, which is the documentary of the word itself.

The DVD will include the three-hour theatrical version as well as a four-hour director’s cut, featuring longer versions of various scenes. Speaking at the Director’s Guild of America awards, its producer Riza Aziz said “the sex scenes run a little longer but nothing extreme,” while producer Joey McFarland added: “To be honest with you, the movie is not much different in its longer form, it’s just longer versions of scenes.

The Wolf of Wall Street theatrical version has become a huge commercial success with over $220m at the global box office. It is nominated for five Oscars, including best picture, director and actor.

Despite its length, The Wolf of Wall Street is one of the most anticipated films of 2013. But the fans are already waiting for its DVD release which is rumoured to be on March 25.
