Harrison Ford has been asked to reprise his role of Rick Deckard in a sequel for Blade Runner. The star has been offered a part in the new film by Gladiator director Ridley Scott who helms the sequel. Hampton Fancher and Michael Green have worked together on a new script and it appears that the next step is to get the Indiana Jones actor to return.
Alcon co-founder Broderick Johnson and Andrew Kosove said: “We believe that Hampton Fancher and Michael Green have crafted with Ridley Scott an extraordinary sequel to one of the greatest films of all time”. Before adding: “We would be honoured, and we are hopeful, that Harrison will be part of our project,”
Rumours suggest that Harrison Ford is aware of the offer and is keen to read the script before committing to a decision.
Harrison Ford is currently reprising his iconic role of Han Solo in the upcoming Star Wars film which is set for release late 2015.
