Harrison Ford has broken his ankle during filming the new Star Wars film.
His injury is thought to have been caused by the Millennium Falcon’s doors.
Disney clarified that Ford had injured himself: “Harrison Ford sustained an ankle injury during filming today on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII, He was taken to a local hospital and is receiving care.”
Shooting is still thought to continue while the Han Solo actor recovers.
Han solo is thought to play a major part in the upcoming sequel with appearances from Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) also.
We wish Harrison Ford a speedy recover and hope this won’t delay the film for its UK release on December 18, 2015.
