With last weekend marking the 15th Film4 FrightFest (held at the London West End Vue), showcasing sixty-four horror films on 5 screens over 5 days, this allowed for a huge variety of interesting, unnerving and horrifying spectacles to be brought to its audience from across the world. So with reviews being released in droves and anticipating the general release of many of these films; here is a spectrum of the types and sub-genres (whether alien, supernatural or psychological thriller as just some of the full range of horror film to be screened), both high and law budget, and based on some of most critically popular films of this year’s festival, and have generated the most intrigue.
