Whether you want to blur wrinkles, minimise the appearance of pores or whether you’re after a perfect base for your foundation, a make-up primer is always the answer. Wanting to know what the hype was all about, we opted to test out Benefit’s the POREfessional primer.
Benefit‘s the POREfessional primer comes in a 22ml retro looking tube with a screw lid. Claiming “to minimize the appearance of pores and fine lines for smoother-than-smooth skin“, this product is oil-free and has a silky feel. The primer has a pale beige tint which turns transparent once it is applied onto the skin, therefore complementing all skintones. The product itself has a slight pleasant but subtle scent, which fades quickly once the primer is absorbed into the skin.
We think that the Benefit POREfessional primer makes a perfect base for any liquid foundation, and it actually helps the foundation to go on much smoother. As it states on the product’s packaging, it also helps make-up stay on for longer.
The only downside to this product is that for a 22ml tube, the POREfessional primer is quite pricey. However, one only needs a small amount to cover the whole face as a little product goes a long way. We also suggest that if you have dry skin, make sure you use this primer after moisturising your face as it can be a little bit drying.
Retailing at £24.50 from benefitcosmetics.co.uk, we are now obsessed with the Benefit POREfessional primer, and we surely recommend it to those ladies who want their skin to have a nice even look and a silky soft matte finish.
