Taken from their 5th studio album ‘Welcome Home Armageddon’, ‘Sixteen’ is the latest single from Funeral for a Friend (FFAF) and is an energetic, sure fire, sing-a-long hit.
The track features all the key ingredients FFAF fans expect from the Welsh rockers, with powerful riffs, energetic beats and catchy vocals. The band have been through a great number of both line up and style changes since their formation in 2001, however, this track seems to hint at their earlier sound. With an anthemic chorus set to ignite a sing-a-long from any crowd, the song is guaranteed to be a live performance favourite. While the track is short, it’s straight to the point and is guaranteed to stick with you for some time.
B-side to the single ‘Owls (Are Watching)’ is an altogether different track. The song has a much more sombre feel. Not necessarily their best song, (ideal for a B-side), it’s slightly rough, but there is definite potential.
