With the recent announcement from Oklahoma City band, Red City Radio that founding guitarist and co-vocalist, Paul Pendly parted ways from the band, fans have been hoping this wouldn’t disband the group all together.
But now, fans can rest assured because the group has announced a new guitarist.
In a post from the band…Ryan Donovan, a bass player for punk band, Nothington, will be their new replacement.
Vocalist/Guitarist, Garret Dale posted in a blog:
We know you’ve had a rough week after hearing the news our brother Paul would no longer be with Red City Radio.. Well, I hope this cheers y’all right up!
Help us welcome our new guitar player and long time friend RYAN DONOVAN to Red City Radio!!!!
Ryan will accompany us on all future tours including our Europe run coming up next month!!! He’s a great guy and he wants to party with you!

Red City Radio have been together since 2007 and have released two EPs and two full length albums.
Pendley explained on his personal blog that the move is to is to explore personal projects. He also explained that there were no hard feelings between him and other bandmembers.
“I was neither dismissed by my band mates nor sick of being their band mate and friend. The truth is I was and am ready for something different,” Pendley says in his blog.
