Live at Leeds festival has just topped their ever expanding lineup, by adding a finale party at the O2 Academy Leeds, with none other than indie titans; Maximo Park!
Maximo Park will be joined by Little Comets, Spector, High Tyde and The Indigo Project. This finalises what will be an incredible weekend of music with one of the strongest lineups for years.
Maximo Park brings over a decade of infectious indie beats and perfect hooks, such as ‘Apply Some Pressure’ and ‘Our Velocity’ which will surely add some anthemic moments to top off the weekend. Famed for their energetic live show, there is no better band to round out the weekend. Backed up by indie kid favourites; Little Comets, who will be fresh from touring their 4th studio album; Worhead.
The show comes a day after Live At Leeds itself, the award-winning new music festival that stands as the very first place to hear the essential sounds of 2017. Boasting over 180 artists at venues across the city, this year is primed with revered favourites and refreshing new voices including sets from Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, Slaves, Wild Beasts, White Lies, Nothing But Thieves, Jagwar Ma, Temples, Black Honey, Superfood, Honeyblood, The Big Moon, Fickle Friends, The Amazons and many more. With Future Islands confirmed to headline the very special Live At Leeds: Welcome Party on Friday 28th April, Live At Leeds is set to incorporate a defining weekend that points to the future of invigorating new music.
