Junction 2 spreads to two days and drops first wave of artists for 2019!
After the recent news that Junction 2 will now expand to a 2-day festival in June next year, they have enticed further excitement with the first acts now released.
Promising a broader music range on the additional day with a clear distinction from the techno focused Saturday. Bicep, Daphni, Daniel Avery and Motor City Drum Ensemble have now been confirmed for Friday 7th June. With Adam Beyer, Maceo Plex, Joseph Capriati and Richie Hawtin all announced for Saturday 8th.
Showcasing some of the most exciting acts to break through in recent years, as well as sought-after headliners, Friday will also see sets from Call Super, Job Jobse, Peach and Shanti Celeste.
Saturday’s homage to techno inspired sounds welcomes Dax J, Etapp Kyle, and Imogen. Making his J2 debut, Richie Hawtin makes for an exciting addition for 2019, while Maceo Plex sees a welcome return after his set at their 2017 edition was deemed a highlight of the show.
J2 regulars Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati and Ida Engberg will be back once again and know just what Junction 2’s party goers want. 2019 is set to be the biggest and best year to date.

If that’s not enough, Junction 2 will also be hosting a special day and night launch party this coming December at Tobacco Dock and Fabric, with Adam Beyer, Âme, Rødhåd and Amelie Lens already announced.
